METEOROLOGICAL APPLICATIONS
In meteorological applications, hydrogen is used as a lift gas where helium is unavailable or prohibitively expensive. HOGEN® hydrogen generation systems are ideally suited to producing hydrogen at its point of use, using only electricity and water to provide hydrogen at 13.8 barg/ 200 psig pressure without the need for mechanical compression.

Compared to traditional caustic electrolyzers with mechanical compressors, HOGEN hydrogen generation systems:
- Are compact, lightweight, one-box, automated systems
- Make hydrogen from electricity and water
- Make hydrogen at pressure without a compressor - minimal moving parts
- Eliminate caustic hazards through solid state PEM electrolysis
- Have minimal maintenance for highest onstream time
- Are available in durable stainless steel construction
- Are small enough to deliver by light plane
