LAB PURITY KIT
The Lab Purity Kit (KT-1000-0034) provides users of HOGEN® GC and S Series hydrogen generators the means to assure high hydrogen quality (dewpoint) and an uninterrupted supply for their critical process.
The Lab Purity Kit is a panel-mounted assembly comprised of a user connection manifold, pressure reducing regulator, gas-monitoring dewpoint sensor, backup desiccant bed column, gas filter, controls, alarm relay, and a three-way gas diverter valve.
How it Works:
The lab purity kit is installed upstream of the user's process. If the dewpoint monitor senses moisture in the hydrogen in excess of the control set point, a three-way valve diverts the gas to the user's hydrogen vent system. As an extra measure, a desiccant column captures any trace moisture before it reaches the end user. If desired, the user may connect a backup hydrogen supply to a port provided on the kit. This provides uninterrupted hydrogen flow in the event of any hydrogen generator purity or operational upset.
